Leap of Faith Wellness Centre flashback…

Today I popped into “Ground yourself Cafe” in Acland Court, St Kilda where resides about 8 shops over two levels near and above the Coles supermarket over looking the infamous Acland Street in St Kilda. My now 13 year old daughter and I opted for a coffee here and noticing it was new, thought a good place to pop into. After chatting to Denis who was making the coffees and later gathered he was the owner ( dam good coffees BTW- 5 star!) after asking if the Bizz was new, offered that I had had a business for 9 years being Leap of Faith Wellness Centre upstairs. Lo and behold he knew of it and said people still come in and speak well of it probably because of the crystals he was also selling which I then noticed, a colourful and beautifully displayed selection. It was soooo nice to hear this and my daughter promptly said….thats cool! She wasn’t born before I became director and was starting prep the year I sold it in 2015 after relocating it to Elwood ( now in high school- how time flies!) Anyhow, it was touching and encouraging at the same time to hear.

I hold bitter sweet memories of my time as director of my wellness centre, naming it after my first book, A Leap of Faith and personal experience in grief and loss to discover and later write about in my third book, “Pandora’s box” the many challenges brought about by employing psychic practitioners.
